Questionable strikezone in Phillies loss to Giants & fans were not happy about it
In Sports ther are going to be games that everyone is going to be talking about and that is what we saw in the Phillies 3-1 loss to the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park on Monday Night, the Umpire Phil Cuzzi had a horrible strike zone and it pissed the Phillies & their fans through the entire game including in the 8th inning when Orion Kerkering threw 3 pitches that should have been a strikeout to Matt Chapman, instead it would be a single.
Orion Kerkering struck out Matt Chapman 3 separate times but the umpire completely missed all these strike calls. Then, Chapman hit a single. The Philadelphia Phillies are now losing… pic.twitter.com/i6BVhhM2AK

The entire strike zone from that at-bat
Phillies fans would let it be known how bad the umpire was
Alright game is off good night guys I can’t handle this bs

This is the most blatant lopsided strike zone I’ve ever seen what the fuck is happening
— Jake (@PhilliesJake) July 8, 2025
Phil Cuzzi is fucking awful. These balls are four inches outside the zone and they’re being called strikes, man 😭

Phil Cuzzi is screwing the Phillies royally tonight. It is absolute criminal that he struck out Chapman 3 times in one AB
After taking the bat out of Harper’s hand. And Caleb has to get run there #RingTheBell— Jim C (@JimConover10) July 8, 2025
Investigate this home plate ump @MLB

Just a big bag of unlucky bullshit tonight, and an ump that should retire.

One of the most infuriating baseball games I’ve ever seen in my life. Now I won’t be able to fall asleep. Fuck this shit and fuck you Phil Cuzzi and fuck this offense. #RingTheBell

Someone on the Phillies should just take a bat to Phil Cuzzi and give him a good shiner on the face pic.twitter.com/jtL7JZw74a

Me and the homies HATE Phil Cuzzi!!!!!
— Luzardo Cy Young Watch (@bnesanders) July 8, 2025
Phil Cuzzi should be fired for this performance tonight. Of course he won’t be because @MLB and @MLBUA don’t have the guts to do it.
— Mike Butz (@MAButz) July 8, 2025
What the fuck is Phil Cuzzi watching?
— Mitch Rupert (@Mitch_Rupert) July 8, 2025
This game can fuck off. A hard hit ball hit right to the first baseman to end this game. Fuck the Giants, fuck Phil Cuzzi. Onto tomorrow

— Justin Ungaro (@jrungaro99) July 8, 2025
That inning should've been over with no runs scored. Go fuck yourself, Phil Cuzzi, you criminal scumbag. #Phillies
