Michael Clay, 2025

It’s been known for a while that the Eagles will see some change in the coaching this offseason.

Ever since removing Patullo from the offensive coordinator role, and have been interviewing while stating the new OC will have complete autonomy.

The Eagles also allowed Michael Clay to interview for the special teams coordinator role elsewhere, but ultimately he decided to re-sign in Philly; he and the team agreed to a new deal on Sunday.

The Eagles don’t often release the exact details of coaching contracts and this situation is no different.

Clay oversaw a unit that’s greatest struggle was missed kicks (something he can’t control) but who’s biggest plays were blocked kicks – several of which turned into scores and one of which was the reason the Birds ultimately beat the Rams this past season on the final play of the game.
