Eagles LB Nigel Bradham Believes Jordan Hicks Can Be Hall of Famer

Monday was cleanout day in the Eagles locker room. And while it wasn't the best year for many Eagles players, one linebacker had a tremendous end to the season.

Jordan Hicks came away with two interceptions to bring his season total to five, a tremendous year for the second-year linebacker.

That has the attention of veteran linebacker Nigel Bradham, who had some high praise for the potential of Hicks.

"He's unbelievable," Bradham said to NJ.com. "The things he can do on the field. His instincts. His power. His speed. He's everything you want in a linebacker. I know him and I feel like honestly he can work himself into getting into a gold jacket."

That would be a Hall of Fame gold jacket.

After his rookie season was cut short by injury, Hicks turned in an excellent sophomore season, with 85 tackles, one sack and five interceptions.

Hicks in return credited Bradham for a lot of his success, between Bradham's previous experience in Jim Schwartz's defensive system and Bradham's team-leading 102 tackles.

"To me, I wouldn't be able to have had the kind of season I had without him," Hicks said. "I think it's vice-versa. The way we play together. The way we mesh. The way we gel. Our chemistry has built real strong. Especially here, late in the season. 

"He came in at the beginning of the season knowing Jim Schwartz's system and what he was looking for, who he was as a personality and we were oblivious to all of that. He was the guy that we would go to if we had a question, if we didn't understand something or were trying to pick something up, he was the guy we would go to. He's been a huge help to this defense and to everybody."
