Oh boy, things are heating up on the hot stove!

According to former Major League Baseball general manager Jim Bowden, the Houston Astros REJECTED the Philadelphia Phillies offer to acquire outfielder Kyle Tucker. On his SiriusXM show, Bowden revealed the Fightins offered infielder Alec Bohm and outfielder Nick Castellanos in the trade package.

The report comes just days after manager Rob Thomson told reporters the Phillies weren’t shopping Bohm despite previous reports saying otherwise. Rumors about Castellanos date back to November as well.

Buckle up, folks! As Good ol’ JR says “business is about to pick up!”
