Phillies locks in Rob Thomson through the 2027 season

The Philadelphia Phillies have announced that manager Rob Thomson has signed an extension through the 2027 season. Under his leadership, the Phillies have compiled a 346-251 regular-season record and a 21-17 mark in the postseason.

Since taking over in June 2022, Thomson has led the Phillies to four straight postseason appearances — including a National League pennant in 2022.

Thomson now ranks among the top skippers in Phillies history: he is 10th on the franchise’s all-time wins list for managers, and he owns the highest winning percentage of any full-time Phillies manager.
