Newark, NJ: There is a certain feel when combat sports make their way to your city for the first time & that is what we saw on Saturday Night for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship would make their debut in New Jersey at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ & the event would be headlined by the King & Queen of Violence championships

The event was headlined by Jeremy Stephens taking on Mike Perry for the King of Violence. This fight had a lot of action, and both fighters were connecting & for the 5 rounds, Perry would drop  Stephens 6 times, including this shot that ended the fight

 

The buildup for the Queen of Violence between Christine Ferea vs Jessica Borga has been everything we thought, both brought the fight to each other, and Christine Ferea would have the money shot in Round 4 as she breaks vs Jessica Borga nose with a nasty right hand

 

 

The replay of the show from Ferea was OUCH, you  can hear and even feel the impact of the punch

For their debut in New Jersey, it was an awesome show & BKFC President David Feldman said for their future events in New Jersey, “I predict we’ll do one show in Newark and one show in Atlantic City every year.” If you have not had a chance to watch or attend a show, I would highly recommend it, you do get your money’s worth & there is a lot of action. As someone who covers all 3 BKFC shows in Philadelphia & now in New Jersey, this has to be on your sports bucket list & Bare Knuckle is here to stay. I would say Bare Knuckle is getting to the level where the UFC is when it comes to the build-up for certain fights and the cities they host the events.
