With the Eagles season now over, the focus for the front office will turn to building for next year.

While their sure to sign some futures contracts, the team also now has 20 free agents that they’ll have to make decisions on.

RB AJ Dillon

WR Jahan Dotson

TE Dallas Goedert

TE Grant Calcaterra

TE Kylen Granson

OL Fred Johnson

OL Brett Toth

OL Matt Pryor

DE Brandon Graham

DE Jaelan Phillips

EDGE Ogbonnia Okoronkwo

EDGE Josh Uche

EDGE Azeez Ojulari

LB Nakobe Dean

CB Adoree’ Jackson

FB Ben VanSumeren (Restricted Free Agent)

The Eagles now have until March 9 to be the only team that can further negotiate with these players in an attempt to get an extension done should they like to keep them around.

Of course, the Eagles will also want to consider what they could get in return for players signing elsewhere – will Phillips, Goedert, Dean or Blankenship sign deals large enough that it could get them a pretty high pick in the draft? Could another player reach the threshold of getting them a pick later in the draft? If they have more than four they expect to bring back picks, they could look to re-sign others and/or potentially target a higher-tier free agent to maintain four incoming draft picks.
