Eagles host free agent RB Terrance West on visit Tuesday

Though the Eagles currently have three running backs that are basically guarantees to make the 2018 roster in Jay Ajayi, Darren Sproles, and Corey Clement, they are always looking for competition and depth at the skill positions.

According to the Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec, the Eagles had former Ravens and Browns tailback Terrance West come in for a visit to the Eagles' facilities on Tuesday morning.

West started his career with the Cleveland Browns in 2014, playing 14 games for the team until he was dealt to the Titans, ultimately cut after just two games and claimed off of waivers by the Baltimore Ravens in 2015 before becoming a free agent this offseason.

In 41 career games, West has made 23 starts. He has 465 rushing attempts for 1,816 yards and 11 rushing touchdowns. As a receiver, West has 51 receptions for 344 yards and two touchdowns.

West will most likely be competing for the Eagles' fourth option next season, with Wendell Smallwood, Donnel Pumphrey, and undrafted free agent Josh Adams.
