Eagles Injury Update: Cam Jurgens To Not Start But Active, Per Reports

The Eagles biggest injury news this past week was the sudden appearance of center Cam Jurgens at the center position.
A plan was already in place with the team practicing Landon Dickerson at center for the week of practice and well-repped backup Tyler Steen figuring to play guard if he couldn’t go.
Reports arose around noon on Sunday that Jurgens would be out.

That said, things got even more confusing when the team released it’s inactives for the game today.
Notably absent from that list: Cam Jurgens (with depth center Nick Gates also listed as an inactive).

While nobody knows for sure what will happen, the going belief before gametime is that Jurgens’ injury has left the team feeling like their best option is to put Steen in the lineup and Jurgens will be available to enter the game if there’s an injury.
Fans will just have to see what Jeff Stoutland is cooking at game time.
Jurgens did not miss a snap in the divisional round last weekend.
