Eagles Transactions: Nick Muse, Lew Nichols Flip Spots On Practice Squad

The Eagles are doing some more juggling.
On Saturday, the team announced they had brought back Nick Muse and released Lew Nichols from the practice squad.

This essentially undoes a move the Eagles made earlier in the week when they opened Brandon Graham’s practice window.
It’s possible the news indicates positive signs for Kenneth Gainwell (concussion protocol) and so the team wants more depth available at tight end (CJ Uzomah also had his practice window opened earlier in the week).
That said, this seems more like a Howie Roseman move to keep both of these guys somewhat active with the team and likely an attempt to keep both around for signing them to futures deals for next year.
It wouldn’t be a surprise to see the two players swapped once again this week.
