Eagles Injury Update: Brandon Graham Activated Ahead Of Super Bowl LIX
The Eagles have officially activated Brandon Graham.
Just over a week ago, the Birds opened the practice window for the veteran, but before that there wasn’t much real belief that he could actually make a return this season.

OL Nick Gates was placed on IR to make room on the roster.
It remains to be see if and how effective Graham would be at this point, given he hasn’t played real game reps for months.
He was effective prior to that this season, however.

Of course, it’s the hope and belief that he can contribute to making the defensive line even stouter with more defensive ends to rotate. It’s unknown how many snaps he might play.
It’s hard to argue that he hasn’t earned it – drafted 13th overall in the 2010 draft, he’s spent the entirety of his 15-year career with Philadelphia and holds a franchise record for most games played in an Eagles uniform.
His career may have started out on the rougher side, but he’s really come into his own since transitioning to a DE instead of a LB and, of course, had the strip sack in Super Bowl LII that helped the Eagles clinch the game late.
The team also elevated Nicholas Morrow, who started for the team a few years back and would serve as a fourth linebacker that otherwise only has Trotter Jr to back up Baun and Burks.
Khari Blasingame, a fullback picked up midseason, is an interesting elevation. One would figure he’d play special teams but otherwise he’s had very little role on offense with just five offensive snaps taken in the five games he was active.
Britain Covey and CJ Uzomah, each of whom also had their practice windows opened, will seemingly not return for the big game.
