The heading says it all, 25-year-old right-handed pitcher Jordan Ellis has been promoted from single A Clearwater to double A Reading. He was drafted in the 28th round of the 2008 Amateur draft by the Philadelphia Phillies. This season, he has appeared in six games, and in that span, he has allowed four hits, issued two walks, and has struck out 14 batters. He has not allowed a run in 8.2 innings pitched.
