Sunday’s game marked the first time in franchise history that the Flyers have been shut out in three straight regular-season games. Another franchise first will take place on Tuesday night.

Flyers Utah Players to Watch

The Flyers have struggled for offense with three straight shutout losses. When the team needs a spark to get going, Travis Konecny is usually one to watch. The Flyers leading scorer has hit a bit of a wall lately, but also has 21 goals and 58 points on the season.

Clayton Keller has put together a strong season for Utah. The Utah captain has seen his points pace slow in the last three games after a seven-game points streak where he had four goals and nine assists.


Flyers Utah Goalie Matchup 2-4

Sam Ersson is gets the start for the Flyers. Ersson made 30 saves on 32 shots in the loss on Sunday against Colorado. He allowed four goals on 25 shots to Utah in a loss on Dec. 8.

Karel Vejmelka gets the start for Utah. Vejmelka made 20 saves on 23 shots in an overtime loss to Columbus in his last start on Friday. He has two wins in his last eight starts, including a 26-save shutout against Minnesota on Jan. 23.
