Phillies Invite Justin Crawford, Aidan Miller to Major League Spring Training Camp
The Philadelphia Phillies have officially announced their non-roster invitees for 2026 Major League Spring Training in Clearwater, Fla. The club invited a total of 27 players not currently on the 40-man roster, offering a mix of top prospects, depth options, and experienced organizational arms the chance to compete for major league roles this spring.
Headlining the group are two of the Phillies’ brightest young talents:
- Justin Crawford – The team’s No. 3 prospect and 2022 first-round pick, Crawford will be one of the most closely watched players in camp as he looks to stake a claim on the Opening Day outfield picture. Last season at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, he posted strong offensive numbers and has gotten organizational support for a major-league opportunity.
- Aidan Miller – The 21-year-old infielder and former first-round pick is also invited to big league camp after a strong finish to 2025, showing plate discipline and athleticism as he climbed from Double-A to Triple-A.
Also among the invitees are other notable prospects like outfielder Dante Nori and infielder Aroon Escobar, both of whom have shown promise in the Phillies’ system and could push for roles or depth opportunities with strong spring performances.
