The Flyers get a huge test on Sunday afternoon as they take on the NHL-leading Colorado Avalanche.

Another late push wasn’t enough on the scoreboard, as the Colorado Avalanche claimed a 3-2 result and handed the Flyers their fourth straight loss and 16th in their last 18 games on Tuesday night.

The Flyers road trip shifts to Colorado, where the Avalanche now have a few players back in the lineup from last week’s defeat in Philadelphia.

The Flyers 3-2 shootout loss to the Canadiens makes the performance from Tuesday more of an anomaly. It kills the momentum that this streak was building. It doesn’t help create more of an identity for a team that desperately needs one. So you can throw the positives and good vibes out the window.
