Carolina Hurricanes
Audition time begins for many Flyers as they begin the final five on the road facing the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday afternoon.
Erasing a five-point deficit and at least one seven-point deficit is not favorable or likely for the Flyers, especially with just 15 games to play in the regular season, but for now, there is a path to do it.
The Flyers nearly pulled off another improbable third-period rally. It’s entertaining for sure, but it usually means that the two periods leading up to the rally weren’t very good. The Flyers did not have a good road trip by any stretch, and they brought the poor play home with them in another loss to the Hurricanes.

The Flyers return home for the first time in 2019 to play the Carolina Hurricanes, a team that defeated them on a four-game road trip on New Year’s Eve. The Flyers are currently on a four-game losing streak. Game time is at 7 p.m.
