It appears Steve Mason and the Flyers are definitely going their separate ways. Mason’s agent, Anton Thun, said on Wednesday that there were recent talks with the Flyers, but nothing formal regarding a new contract.
The Flyers released one part of their preseason schedule for the 2017-18 season on Wednesday, as they will play a preseason game against the New York Islanders at PPL Center in Allentown. The schedule was announced as part of a joint press conference between the Flyers and their AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
