Teams go through a lot of the same things — notably injuries — and find ways to overcome them and be successful. At the end of the day, this is just three games on an 82-game schedule. Three games do not wipe out what the Flyers had done over the previous 20.
With Oskar Lindblom certainly on their minds, the Flyers will get back on the ice for the first time since a 3-1 loss in Colorado, looking to get back to the win column. They take on the Minnesota Wild, a team that has been very good on home ice to the tune of an 8-1-3 record this season.
The Flyers came away with the 4-3 win over the Senators on Saturday afternoon, but perhaps something bigger than just two points. It was just another example of a team that continues to show a closeness and ability to overcome adversity that wasn’t there in the past.

On the morning of Dec. 3, 2019, one year since Fletcher’s hiring, the Flyers have a 15-7-5 record and just posted a 10-2-4 record in November, tying a franchise record with 24 points in the month of November for the fourth time in franchise history.
If Thanksgiving is the marker for being in a playoff position, the Flyers did more than just settle for being among the contenders at the holiday. They padded the margin and made a move further up the standings to cap off a historic month.
Ivan Provorov pulled off a highlight-reel goal, beating Keith Kinkaid 31 seconds into overtime to give the Flyers a 4-3 win over the Canadiens, their fourth straight win to close out the month.
