Hayes Scores Twice in Flyers Win Over Islanders

The only Flyer who needed to find the back of the net was Kevin Hayes. Hayes scored twice in the second period, including a power-play goal with 5:05 remaining. That proved to be the game-winner through the third period, as the Flyers claimed a 2-1 win over the Islanders.

Lindblom’s Late Goal Lifts Flyers to Win Over Islanders

The Flyers were left with the challenge of digging deep down to find the will to win a game they needed to have after losing a three-goal lead. Leave it one of the strongest guys on the team, a heart and soul player the Flyers have rallied around before, to deliver the winning goal. Oskar Lindblom’s second goal of the game with 2:22 remaining gave the Flyers the edge in a 4-3 win over the Islanders on Thursday night.
