It has been a long and trying road trip for the Flyers, who are 1-4-0 so far in five games. The road trip finally comes to an end on Tuesday night as the Flyers face the Carolina Hurricanes.

For the second straight game, Morgan Frost was a presence, scoring another goal and assisting on the game-winning goal in the Flyers 5-3 win over the Carolina Hurricanes. That helped snap the Flyers four-game losing streak and get them back into the win column.

Morgan Frost scored a shorthanded goal to give the Flyers the lead in the second, then with the game tied again in the third, set up Claude Giroux for his second goal of the game and the eventual game-winner in a 5-3 Flyers win over the Hurricanes.

The Flyers and Hurricanes meet again on Thursday night, with the Flyers looking to put an end to their losing streak and get back on track.

The Flyers continue a busy month of November as the Carolina Hurricanes come to town on Tuesday night.

With August upon us, the Flyers still have not re-signed restricted free agents Ivan Provorov and Travis Konecny, two key pieces to their future. But the Flyers are not alone among teams still needing to sign key RFAs with just over a month until training camps open.

The Flyers, who have lost four straight games since their playoff hopes were officially dashed a week ago, and have lost six of the last seven games and nine of the last 12 games, close out the 2018-19 season at home against the Carolina Hurricanes.
