CLEARWATER, Fla. — With their first exhibition game of the 2018 season set to get underway in just three days, the Philadelphia Phillies are continuing to hone and refine their skill sets under rookie manager Gabe Kapler.

As the second week of spring training camp got underway on Monday, the club was addressed in a team meeting by perhaps the current most popular Philadelphia sports athlete — given his recent "No One Likes Us, We Don't Care" Super Bowl championship parade speech — Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.

Kelce, 30, has appeared in all 16 games for the Eagles over the past three seasons.

Phillies players "seemed to really love" Kelce's message — according to MLB.com's Todd Zolecki— which was surely was motivational for all the players in camp, as they look to mirror the Eagles' recent success against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52 earlier this month.

Kelce is just one of the many prominent figures that Kapler has "requested inspirational messages" from, according to 6abc's Jeff Skversky. The Eagles' Carson Wentz, Doug Pederson, the Philadelphia Flyers' Claude Giroux, the Philadelphia 76ers' Ben Simmons and Super Bowl 52 halftime show performer Justin Timberlake also all sent video messages to the club wishing them success this season.

The Phillies will oppose the University of Tampa Spartans on Thursday, Feb. 22, 1:05 p.m. at Spectrum Field.
