Philadelphia: In sports, there are going to be moments that you face adversity, and that is what the Philadelphia Wings are going through as they are 1-4 on the season & on Friday night, they would look to get back to their winning ways as they took on the San Diego Seals from Xfinity Mobile Arena. The Wings come into the game with a record of 1-4 & off a bad loss to Rochester on January 9.

How the game went:

The Philadelphia Wings would score 2 goals in the 1st quarter; a milestone would be hit for the Philadelphia Wings in Eric Fannell, who picked up his 100th career assist; the Wings would lead 2-0 at the end of the 1st quarter.

This was a sick goal from the Wings’ Michael Sowers, which made it 3-0 in the second quarter

A few minutes later, San Diego would end the shutout, and Joe Resetarits would score 2 of the Wings’ 4 goals in the first half, as they took a 4-1 lead into halftime. This game would change in the second half as San Diego would wake up and fight their way back and cut into the lead & then halfway through the 4th quarter, San Diego would take the 8-7 lead

When this goal happened, the crowd inside Xfinity Mobile Arena knew that it would take a miracle to come back & possibly win this game. As the final horn goes off, there would be some booo birds as the Wings, who had a 5-1 lead, & their offense goes cold as San Diego takes the game 9-7.

What is next:
With this loss, the Philadelphia Wings now fall to 1-5 on the season & there needs to be some serious questions about what is happening that the WIngs who had good first half of action & for some reason just unable to keep up the action going into the second half, could it be the way they are designing the plays or just costly penalties & mistakes that the other team takes advantage of .

The Wings will play this same San Diego team next week in San Diego, their next home game at Xfinity Mobile Arena will be on Feb 22 against the Saskatchewan Rush.
