Flyers Acquire G Dustin Tokarski from Ducks

The season is just three games old, but the Flyers have already made a move, albeit on a minor level.
The Flyers acquired goalie Dustin Tokarski from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for future considerations. Tokarski has been assigned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
In addition, the Phantoms traded goalie Leland Irving to the San Diego Gulls for future considerations.
Tokarski, 28, has appeared in 34 NHL games, posting a 10-12-5 record with a 2.84 GAA and .904 save percentage. Tokarski played one game with the Ducks last season, after spending the previous three seasons with the Montreal Canadiens. Tokarski was a fifth-round pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2008.
Irving signed with the Flyers this offseason on an AHL deal after Anthony Stolarz suffered an injury ahead of training camp. Irving was assigned to the Phantoms, but never appeared in a game with the team. The Phantoms opened their season over the weekend with back-to-back games against Hershey and Hartford, both started by Alex Lyon.
