Philadelphia Phillies prospect Drew Anderson was named Eastern League Pitcher of the Week for games played between May 29 and June 4. It's the second time this season Anderson has won the award.

Anderson, 23, made two starts during the last week, allowing just two earned runs in 13 innings (1.38 ERA) while striking out 13 hitters and walking two. In his first start of the week, Anderson pitched against Portland on May 30. He allowed just one run on seven hits in seven innings of work, striking out eight and walking two during Reading's extra-inning loss.

In Anderson's second start of the week on June 4 against Akron, he gave up a run on three hits and struck out five en route to his fourth win of the season.

Selected in the 21st round of the 2012 draft, Anderson is 4-2 with a 4.25 ERA in 11 starts this season for Reading. He's allowed two runs or less in five of his last six starts.
