Bradley Carnell On How Union Look So Far In Loaded May Schedule

Chester, PA: There are going to be times when your schedule is going to be loaded with a large number of games and not many days to train and recover and the Philadelphia Union is experiencing that with a loaded month of May – which includes two or more games in the US Open Cup.
The Philadelphia Union is now preparing for another week of games on Wednesday and Saturday. This week, they take on the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the Round of 16 of the US Open Cup and then face off against Inter Miami with Lionel Messi on Saturday.
Both games this week are at Subaru Park.
On Tuesday, Philadelphia Union head coach Bradley Carnell would open up about how the team has handled the schedule of games that have been played in the month of May & any possible fatigue factor:

Other updates from Bradley Carnell:
Kai Wagner is fine after the cut he took from the game on Saturday in Atlanta & will be eligible for selection for the US Open Cup game.
What is the progress on Ian Glavinovich?
Ian is still progressing. I don’t believe he started anything with the ball yet. So it’s not, I mean, he really escalated really quickly after the operation. And now it’s just been a continual growth, I would say, or rehabilitation. He’s still a little bit away from any ball work or team connectedness at the moment.
So, where do things stand with the injury to Andre Blake?
