The long-awaited pick acquired by the Flyers from the Zac Rinaldo trade with the Boston Bruins has been utilized.

With the 80th overall pick, the Flyers selected goalie Kirill Ustimenko.

Ustimenko is 6'3", 179 pounds and played for MHK Dynamo St. Petersburg in the MHL last season. In 27 games, he had a 1.74 GAA and .938 save percentage. He also played two games for Russia in the World Junior Championships, posting a 0.50 GAA and .984 save percentage.

The Flyers have back-to-back picks coming up in the fourth round at 106th and 107th overall next.
