Phillies OF prospect Roman Quinn is heading to the disabled list yet again, this time with a concussion (Frank Klose/Philliedelphia)

Oft-injured Phillies outfield prospect Roman Quinn got hit with some more bad luck…literally. After looking like a near sure September call-up, Quinn's time may have to wait. He's headed to the disabled list, this time with a concussion after a pick-off throw hit him in the head.

Quinn's average was up to .282 after returning from an oblique injury that caused him to spend better part of June and all of July on the disabled. Since the speedy 23-year-old outfielder is already on the 40-man roster and was heating up at the plate, a September call-up seemed extremely likely, but now that is in doubt with the severity of his concussion unknown. Over his last 10 games, Quinn was hitting .316 with two doubles, a triple, three homers, six RBIs, eight runs scored and two steals.

The Phillies selected Quinn in the second round of the 2011 draft.
