Philadelphia: The Premier Lacrosse League will be making their way to Philadelphia for their next stop on their schedule. The games will be held at Villanova Stadium on the campus of Villanova University.

The Premier Lacrosse League will have a 2-day doubleheader with some high-excitement lacrosse action. They are calling their trip to Philadelphia a homecoming for the Premier Lacrosse League team called the Philadelphia Waterdogs.

For those who are not aware that Philadelphia has a team in the Premier Lacrosse League, they came into the league as an expansion team in 2020. They are coached by Bill Tierney, who is entering his second season as the head coach of the Waterdogs.

The roster that the Waterdogs showed on opening night last week:

One of the players on the team that everyone should keep an eye on is Michael Sowers, who put on a show in their opening game of the season with 7 assists. Yes, you are reading that correctly:

Coming into this season, the Waterdogs had the number 1 pick, with which they would select CJ Kirst, who just won the National Championship with Cornell.

Kirst will wear number 15 for the Waterdogs, the same number he wore at Cornell.

Broadcast information:
For the games at Villanova, the Waterdogs will take on the Boston Cannons on Friday at 6 PM and, on Saturday, they take on the Denver Outlaws at 7 PM.

The games on Friday & Saturday will be on ESPN+.
