Miami, Fla. — The Phillies snapped their losing streak last night with a comeback 4-3 win over the streaking Marlins in Miami. Today at Marlins Park, they will look to take two out of three as they send Aaron Nola to the hill against Miami's Justin Nicolino.

Nola comes into today's matchup with a 20-inning scoreless streak as the Phillies seek their fourth series win in their last five. Over the last 12 games, the Phillies are 8-4, but have a batting average of just .220 and have yet to score more than four runs over that stretch. Darin Ruf gets the start against the left-hander today. The 29-year-old first baseman is 1 for his last 17 with five strikeouts and two walks. He's hitting just .157 with three RBI's this season.

Starting Pitching Matchup:

Philadelphia Phillies (17-14) Miami Marlins (16-13)
RHP Aaron Nola LHP Justin Nicolino
(2-2, 2.93 ERA) (2-0, 2.70 ERA)

Nola, the teams' 2014 first round pick, has been nothing short of spectacular recently, tossing two straight seven-inning starts without allowing a run while scattering just four hits and striking out 14 and walking two. His WHIP of 0.80 is good for fifth in all of baseball.

Meanwhile, the Marlins counter with 24-year-old left-hander Justin Nicolino. His last start was in a Marlins 7-4 win against Arizona. He allowed four runs in six innings.
