The Philadelphia Phillies farm system was well showcased in Saturday game action. Southpaw Cole Irvin picked up his International League-leading ninth win — matching teammates Enyel De Los Santos and Tom Windle, and three other players.

Phillies No. 2-ranked prospect Adonis Medina — who was included in Manny Machado trade rumors with the Baltimore Orioles — tossed seven scoreless frames with 12 strikeouts and just two hits allowed at Class A Advanced Clearwater, en route to a no-decision.

Seventeen-year-old RHP Manuel Urias picked up his first professional win with DSL Phillies Red, allowing just one run on three hits, one walk and six strikeouts through five frames. The Phillies signed the Ahome, Mexico, native on March 7. At the plate, DSL Phillies Red center fielder Juan Carlos Smith, 20, went 2-for-3 with four runs scored, one double, one home run, two walks and four RBI.
