Strict Biz Promotions Runs Into Adversity But Show Still Goes On At Harrah’s Philadelphia
Chester, PA: There is a certain feel when there is a boxing event in your backyard on a Saturday night and that is what we saw at Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack in Chester, PA this past weekend. This event was promoted by Strict Biz Promotions. This would be the first show that Strict Biz Promotions would be putting on in Philadelphia, as they normally do shows in Delaware.
Coming into the night of fighting, 9 fights were scheduled but 6 fights got pulled due to unknown reasons, so there would be some challenges for Strict Biz Promotions to put on a card for the crowd at Harrah’s Philadelphia.
The updated card would be 3 exhibition fights with 2 regular fights.
How the fights went:
The first fight of the night was a Women’s Exhibition fight between Olivia Linley against Vergara Guzman. This would go all three rounds with no winner.
Next up was a good exhibition fight between 2 Philly fighters in Rasheed Johnson and Naim Nelson. This fight had a lot of action and would also go all 3 rounds with no winner.
The two fights that stayed on the original card would take place. First up was a four-round super welterweight battle between Tariq Green vs LaQuan Evans. This fight had a lot of good action as both fighters were connecting:

The main event of the night was a 6-round welterweight battle: Adonis Wilkins vs Anthony Dill. This fight would not last long, as Adonis would drop Dill late in round 1. Wilkins would finish it off with 4 seconds left in round 1 for the TKO WIN.

Final Thoughts:
Overall, this was a very interesting night of fights from Harrah’s and this was also the first time that Strict Biz would promote in Philadelphia. They did a good job with what was in front of them, especially having 6 fights pulled on the eve of the event but still managing to put on a quality show for the crowd in attendance.
We shall see when they make their return to Philly.
