Chester, PA: As the saying goes, Saturday Night is all right for fighting and that is what we saw from Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack in Chester, PA. The card was promoted by RDR Promotions & it was called “Young Kings”. There was a total of 9 fights on the card.

Fight Card:

How the Fights went:

The first fight of the night was a 4-round battle between Muhammad Noori and Christian Coakley. This was the Pro Debut for Coakley and in the first round both fighters were throwing big shots that were connecting. It would be the same for rounds 2 & 3. In the final round, both fighters were cautious with their punches and this fight would go the distance. The judges scored all 3 for Muhammad Noori by UD.

The next fight was Brendan O’Callaghan vs Marquis Williams in a 4-round middleweight battle. Both fighters were figuring each other out for the first 2 rounds of the fight, but in round 3 O’Callaghan landed a nice left hand that connected. The fight would go all 4 rounds and the judges scored it a split decision for Williams.

Next up was Ghandi Romain vs Nelson Morales of Scranton, PA in 6 rounds. The fight would only go 4 as the corner/referee stopped the fight before Round 5. The Winner by TKO is Romain

Up next was Michael Harris, who took on Jeremiah Potts. This fight would end with a knockout by Harris in a very dominating fashion in round 2.

Rashan Adams vs Harold McQueen was a good fight with a good amount of action. It too would go the distance & Adams won by split decision.

One of the more impressive showings on the card was by Jason Moreno, who won his fight by TKO at 2:12 of Round 3. Moreno did a good amount of damage to the body and all three knockdowns took place in the 3rd round.

One of the 3 knockdowns by Moreno:

One of the upcoming stars in boxing put on an amazing performance: Kadeen Hunter picked up a 1st-round KO over James Patrick Holcombe. This is a name to keep an eye on going forward in Philadelphia boxing.

The Co-Main Event was Juan Rivera V vs Marcello Williams. This fight was good action and ended in Round 4 by TKO for Rivera.

The Main Event of the night was Erron Peterson vs Pachino Hill in a 6-round Middleweight fight. This fight would not last long, as it would make it to the second round before the referee saw enough. Peterson won the fight by TKO.

Final Take:
Overall it was a great night of boxing and the crowd was into the fights the entire night. Everyone got their money worth and if you do get the chance to come out to one of RDR Promotions’ events, I would highly recommend it.
