Philadelphia: As the entire nation continues with the Thanksgiving holiday, the City of Philadelphia will be in the national spotlight with the NFL as the Philadelphia Eagles will be playing in the 3rd annual NFL Black Friday game as they take on the Chicago Bears from Lincoln Financial Field.

Both the Eagles & Bears come into the game with an 8-3 record.

Here are a couple of things to keep an eye on for the game if you’re attending or watching the game from home.

This is the 2nd year in a row the Eagles will play a regular-season game on a Friday; they did it last year when they opened the season in Brazil.

New Traffic Pattern:
The City of Philadelphia is going to try a new way to, hopefully, get traffic out faster – the Black Friday game will be the test of the new traffic pattern.

The new route to get to the Walt Whitman Bridge will be via Darien Street from Pattison Avenue, up to the on-ramp at Packer Avenue. Packer Avenue eastbound will be closed at 10th Street. That means people in parking lots Q, R, V, W and X will need to take Broad Street or Front Street to get over the bridge or onto I-95.

Broadcast Information:

The Game is on Amazon Prime Video at 3 PM, featuring Al Michaels, Kirk Herbstreit & Kaylee Hartung calling the action. The game will be shown in the Philadelphia viewing area on FOX 29, while the rest of the nation gets it on Prime Video.
