Philadelphia: We are a week away from the Philadelphia Eagles beginning their playoff run to repeat as Super Bowl Champions. Here are a couple of things to keep in mind as we enter Week 18, as the Eagles do battle with the Commanders at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday at 4:25 PM on CBS & what the Eagles could see in the Wildcard round.

The NFL Playoff schedule would be released at the end of the Week 18 Sunday Night Game, which is Ravens at Steelers

When do the playoffs begin?
The NFL Playoffs begin the weekend of January 10-11 for the Wildcard round & the Eagles would be hosting a game in the Wildcard round, something to think about, as everyone knows that there could be be multiple events going on at the South Philly Sports Complex & there is a Flyers game scheduled for January 10 at 7 PM, so if the NFL wants to put the Eagles in the Saturday Night option, Could the Flyers move the game to the afternoon, or would the NFL go head-to-head with the Flyers game.

Network:
CBS & FOX- Saturday/Sunday Afternoon
Prime Video- Saturday Night
NBC- Sunday Night
ESPN/ABC- Monday Night

Who is doing the Super Bowl this year?
NBC will be the home of Super Bowl LX on Sunday, February 8, from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California

Seeding:
The Eagles would be the Number 2 seed if they beat the Commanders & Bears lose to the Lions, they would be the Number 3 seed with a loss to the Commanders, or Bears win over the Lions

Possible Matchups & what Network could do the game:

Eagles vs Packers:

If it Eagles against the Packers, 2 networks come to mind who would do this game, FOX & ESPN

FOX:
The network covered the Eagles vs. Packers game last year in the wildcard round, which the Eagles won, & it was Tom Brady’s first playoff game calling for FOX. In this game, it saw an amazing touchdown from Dallas Goedert

ESPN/ABC:
This game was on Monday Night Football in Week 10 in Green Bay, which the Eagles won 10-7 &  saw the only TD of the game from DeVonta Smith

My prediction is that if it’s Eagles vs Packers,  it would be a Monday Night game as ESPN/ABC would like to have the rematch

Eagles vs Rams:

If we get Eagles vs Rams in the Wildcard Round, 3 Options come to mind: FOX, NBC, & Prime Video

FOX:
The network had the Eagles vs Rams back in Week 3, which the Eagles won on a blocked FG from Jordan Davis that was returned for a Touchdown

NBC:
They had Eagles Rams in the NFC Divisional showdown last year at Lincoln Financial Field in the snow, which saw Saquon Barkley break a big TD in the Snow

Prime Video:
If the NFL wants to have the game on Saturday Night, then Prime Video would be the choice. The Eagles are 0-2 in games on Prime Video during the 2025 season, which were the losses to the Giants & Bears.

My prediction for Eagles vs Rams, I think the game would end up on Sunday Night

Eagles vs 49ers:

The final option, if the Eagles get the 49ers in the Wildcard round, there are 3 Networks in Mind, FOX, NBC & Prime Video

FOX:
The last time that FOX had the Eagles vs the 49ers in the Playoffs was the NFC Title on Jan 29, 2023, which the Eagles won & that game showed Miles Sanders with 2 rushing touchdowns

NBC:
They started the season with the Eagles raising the Super Bowl banner on Opening Night against the Cowboys  & would like their playoff run to start in South Philly.

PrimeVideo:
As mentioned for the Eagles vs Rams options, if the NFL wants to put the Eagles 49ers on Saturday night, then the option would be Prime Video.

My prediction if the Eagles do play the 49ers, I think the game will be Saturday Night on Prime Video or Sunday at 4:30 PM on FOX
