Eagles Injury Update: Jack Driscoll Hits IR Ahead Of Playoffs, Brett Toth Joins 53-Man Roster
The Eagles have lost some valuable depth on their offensive line ahead of their playoff push.
On Friday, the team officially placed Jack Driscoll on IR, most likely ending his season (he could theoretically be activated for the Super Bowl should the Eagles advance to that point).

Driscoll hasn’t played much this season, but he played heavily against the Giants last week in a game where he and his fellow backups made big-name players Brian Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux look like they were trying to get past All-Pro talent.
Driscoll has been an effective player for the Eagles since they drafted him and the Dolphins took a shot on him this offseason in free agency. The signing netted Driscoll nearly $1 million but he didn’t make the roster out of camp and quickly found his way back to Stoutland U.
By late October, he had been added back to the active roster again to serve as depth for the guard and tackle positions.
Taking his place is Toth, another player who’s spend at least five years with the team and keeps finding himself as a depth option for any offensive line position. The Eagles really like him and he’s shown promise but hasn’t been consistent enough for other teams to pick him up.
He’ll become key depth for the Eagles playoff run.
With the open practice squad spot, the Eagles have brought back receiver Joseph Ngata.
Ngata was brought in with the 2023 UDFA class and returned this offseason after signing a futures contract with Philadelphia.
