Speaking on his podcast aptly named The Rush, Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro edge rusher Maxx Crosby had nothing but praise for the city, its fans, and the unmistakable atmosphere that comes with playing football in Philadelphia.

Crosby said cities with real substance and authentic fan bases stand out across the league, and Philadelphia sits at the top of that list.

“I like cities that really have substance to them and true fan bases and love for their city and the game. Going to Philly you can feel that energy when you go there.”

The Raiders star didn’t stop there, describing the experience as something straight out of a football player’s childhood dream especially given the time of year.

“If you love football, that’s what you dream of as a kid, like playing in Philadelphia in December in a grimey ass environment. That’s exactly what you dream for. I loved it.”
