For just the second time this preseason, the Flyers will be the home team. The game takes place in PPL Center, home to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, for the fourth annual preseason meeting in Allentown. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

The New York Rangers await as the Flyers hit the road for the third time in the preseason so far, facing the Rangers at Madison Square Garden. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

For the third straight day, the Flyers will face the New York Islanders in a preseason game. Once again, the game is at a different venue, taking place in Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Game time is at 7 p.m.

Both Morgan Frost and Isaac Ratcliffe were returned to their junior teams by the Flyers on Tuesday, GM Ron Hextall announced.

With the first four days of training camp and two preseason games in the books, it’s provided some clarity on who the Flyers third-line center options appear to be, based on both the on-ice sessions at camp and GM Ron Hextall’s comments.

Shayne Gostisbehere scored two power-play goals in the preseason home opener at Wells Fargo Center on Monday night in the Flyers 3-1 win over the New York Islanders.

The Flyers have returned three players to juniors: Matthew Strome, Maksim Sushko and Wyatte Wylie. In addition, goalie Liam Hughes was removed from his amateur tryout.
