NFL Draft: Eagles Trade Back Twice Out Of Third Round

The Eagles had the chance to make the last non-compensatory pick on the second day of the draft.
They decided to move back a bit, sending pick 96 to Atlanta for 101 and a fifth-rounder in next year’s draft.

Just a few picks later, the Eagles traded Pick 101 and 134 for two higher fourth-round picks and a sixth-rounder (that gets them into a round they didn’t already have a pick).
The two moves ultimately move them back just 15 spots to acquire a future pick, move up four in the fourth, and add a sixth-rounder for this year.
It would not be a shocker if Roseman looks to move some of these picks for a “veteran” player, potentially still on their rookie deals.
