Chester, PA: There is a certain feel when two teams play well and a little extra when a former player comes back for the first time. That is what we saw as the Philadelphia Union took on the Columbus Crew from Subaru Park in Chester, PA.

This game marked the return of Daniel Gazdag, whom the Union traded to Columbus earlier in the season.

The Union come into the game off a dramatic penalty kick win in the US Open Cup, while Columbus made their way to Chester off a win over Charlotte.

Lineup:

Sixers star Guerschon Yabusele would bang the drum to get the game going:

The Union would honor Daniel Gazdag with a video tribute, as this was his 1st game back at Subaru Park after being traded earlier in the season:

How the game went:

In the first half, both teams had some chances to get the scoring started and were unable to finish.

The Union would break through in the 45th minute on a 2-on-1 which ended with a goal from Tai Baribo for a 1-0 lead before halftime.

Going into the second half, what could the Union do to keep the pressure on Columbus?

Early in the second half, the Union would come out putting the pressure on. Columbus would get the game tied at 1 in the 61st minute on a goal from Max Arfsten.

A few minutes later, the Union would respond with a goal from Frankie Westfield in the 65th minute for his 1st MLS goal; the crowd at Subaru Park was happy to see Frankie score:

Andrew Rick would make some big saves for the Union late in the second half to keep the Union in front, but Columbus would hang around and get the game tied with under 2 minutes left in stoppage time.

This game, in which the Union had their chances, would see it end in a DRAW. This was a winnable game for the Union but, as mentioned earlier, they could not finish their opportunities.
