Game 29 Preview: Flyers looking to storm forward against Carolina

The Philadelpha Flyers (10-13-5) will look to make it two wins in a row today as they faceoff against the Carolina Hurricanes (8-17-3) at 1:05.

The Flyers are coming off a big home win on Thursday night against the Devils which saw goals from secondary scorers such as Sean Couturier, Matt Read and Jakub Voracek.

Philadelphia is looking to continue its strong play at the Wells Fargo Center where they are 7-4-2 on the season.

Steve Mason will be between the pipes for the Flyers. Mason is 5-9-4 on the season with a 2.69 GAA and a .917 SV%.

 

The Carolina Hurricanes have lost four games in a row, scoring just one goal in each of their last four games. They have lost their last four games by a score of either two-to-one or three-to-one.

The Hurricanes' last win came at home against Nashville in a two-to-one effort.

Carolina has an abysmal road record of 3-10-2.

The Hurricanes are lead in points by defenseman Justin Faulk with 17 followed by Riley Nash and Eric Staal who have 16 and 15 respectively.

Anton Khudobin will be between the pipes for Carolina. Khudobin is 0-6-2 with a 2.88 GAA and a .903 SV%.
