Sixers look to end three year losing streak in New York

The Philadelphia 76ers head to New York to face the Knicks. The Sixers last won in Madison Square Garden on January 22nd, 2014. It's been a while, but the Sixers did break an overall losing streak of five games to the Knicks when they won in January on that beautiful TJ McConnell jumper. Both of those wins mentioned happened on a Wednesday. The last time the Sixers faced the Knicks on a Saturday was November 22nd 2014, and that was a loss at home.

Anyway…not sure how this ended up a history lesson but we're here now. The Knicks are reeling and this is a good chance for the Sixers to strike. They just played last night against the Washington Wizards and played very well against a Wizards team that has been playing very well. If the Sixers are able to bring that same level of play, they should be fine.

The Knicks are playing their second game since the all star break. They lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers 104-119. While the Sixers and Knicks have similar records (Sixers at 22-35 and Knicks 23-35) the Knicks have a ton of pressure to play winning basketball while the Sixers have more than doubled their previous win total. Same records; different outlooks or perspectives.
