What a weird game!

Kyle Kendrick started the game for the Phillies.  Sarge and Wheels talking way too much about the bird on the field. Someone from the Phillies bullpen saved the bird from his death. Don't you think it was a weird game? And a talking match in the broadcasting booth live on your television.

Jimmy Rollins gave the Phillies' an early lead with a three-run home run against against the Cubs on Thursday night. Phillies take the 3-0 lead.

The rain delay lasted one hour and seventeen minutes, so Kendrick would be replaced by Danys Baez. I will give credit to Kendrick for those amazing 3 scoreless innings.

However, after Danys Baez and Jose Contreras allowed a run each. Ryan Madson blew his first save of the year. Madson allowed a solo home run in the top of the ninth that tied the game. It looked like Tyler Colvin made it back to back home runs. Sorry Matt Garza, it was overturned because of a fan. Thank you to the fan that intefere with the ball or we may not have a chance to go into extra innings!!

The Phillies allowed a run to score in the top of the 11th when Placido Polanco made an error on a throw to first. The Cubs went ahead and won, 4-3.

Dont worry Phillie fans! The Cubbies have to go through 3 aces. Mr. Stopper himself, Roy Halladay will take the mound on Friday night against Cubs starter Carlos Zambrano.
