As the NFL trade deadline approaches at 4pm today there are bound to be rumors and speculation running rampant throughout the day, and for the Philadelphia Eagles that isn't any different

According to a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport Vinny Curry is among the Eagles players on the radar of league general managers.

"For the Eagles and Vinny Curry," Rapoport tweeted Tuesday. "They’ve taken calls, not made them. Organization sees his talent. We’ll see if they get an offer big enough."

While it is highly unlikely that the Eagles will wind up trading Curry, who they spent a second-round draft choice on in 2012, it isn't a suprise to see the University of Marshall product drawing league-wide interest.

In limited playing time this season as the Eagles under new defensive coordinator Billy Davis transition to a 3-4 front, Curry has recorded two sacks in just six games of action and has been a steady force in disrupting the pocket when given the opportunity to play.

It's no secret that the Eagles see Curry's talent, it's rather perplexing how little he has been used in Davis' defensive line rotation. Against the Giants Curry played in just 16 percent of the snaps.
