Each Friday morning we will select some of the top questions we receive on Twitter and give them the kind of insight and analysis that can't fit within 140 characters. From Penpointent Goce on Facebook:  What are the chances Michael Vick stays in Philly?

With Nick Foles entrenched as the Eagles starting quarterback following a year in which he threw a combined 29 touchdowns and two interceptions, including in the playoffs, and Michael Vick's desire to be a starting quarterback in this league next season, it doesn't appear likely that he will return to the Eagles in 2014.

This is a very similar narrative to what was said and written following last season when Vick spoke about his desire to start in this league as he approached free agency, but because the market did not yield one starting job, he returned to Philadelphia and an open competition in minicamps and training camp where he ultimately won the starting job to begin the year.

Clearly, there wasn't a market for Vick in 2013 and that may be a similar case this time around.

If Vick couldn't land a job last season it's difficult to imagine teams lining up for a 34-year old quarterback who suffered another injury and was ultimately supplanted by Foles even after he was healthy enough to return.

Teams such as the Oakland Raiders or Minnesota Vikings may be among the few franchises that would kick the tires on Vick as a starter.

Should the market for Vick be thin and if the Eagles aren't as comfortable with Matt Barkley as Foles' backup, then there is a chance that Vick returns.

However, those are a lot of ifs and Vick sounded like a man ready to move on, when he spoke to reporters after cleaning out his locker Monday at the Novacare Complex.
