It was last in 2011 that the Eagles and Dolphins met, and it's been since 2007 that the two have played at Lincoln Financial Field.
For the Eagles, a lot is on the line again.
After an emotional win in Dallas last Sunday, the Eagles now have to take care of business at home with the hopes of moving back into first place on the line.
Here are six keys to Sunday's game.
Sam Bradford – Consistency is key. For Bradford, coming off his best game of the season, the goal is a repeat performance of sorts. That means keeping control of the ball, remaining confident in his decisions and executing.
Eagles run defense – There is really nothing too threatening about the Dolphins run game, ranked 19th in the NFL, but the Eagles run defense is coming off two straight games where they have allowed at least 100 yards on the ground. That's not the norm for this group, so it will be interesting to see if that stays in their head or not.
Linebackers – This is partially key to the run defense, but at the same time, this is about durability. DeMeco Ryans is expected to return, but keep in mind, the best linebacker for the Eagles this season has been Jordan Hicks, who is missing the first game en route to season's end. How the Eagles adjust without Hicks and performance without his compete and consistency is crucial to success.
Ryan Tannehill – This guy is a dual threat, and let's face it, the Eagles haven't fared well against guys like that. While Tannehill doesn't light up the stat sheet, he's still dangerous if he finds a rhythm and is comfortable.
Eagles offensive line – Bradford's success only came as a result of good blocking. Jason Peters is questionable for Sunday, so he may miss his second game and put Lane Johnson back in the left tackle position. Last week's performance aside, many of these linemen don't have the most experience or skill. But if they can replicate last week's performance, Bradford is in good hands.
Run and gun – Dolphins interim head coach Dan Campbell expressed worries about facing the Eagles running backs this week. This is a simple approach for the Eagles and it worked last week. Get the run game going, find success with open space in the passing game. When the Eagles play a balanced offense with similar results, they are as dangerous as any team in the league.
