Joel Embiid was fouled by Aron Baynes on last shot, league says

You saw it with your own eyes, obviously it looked like the Celtics' Aron Baynes had fouled Joel Embiid when he went for a layup to tie the game with 10 seconds left, but it just wasn't called.

Of course, Embiid could have very easily have made those attempts, but he could have gone to the line to shoot two free throws to tie the game up as well.

According to the NBA's L2M report, that call, along with a missed Marcus Smart traveling call, among other things were reported as being wrong after the fact.

As always, hindsight is 20/20 here and the Sixers rightfully lost the game and the series, the offseason still carries on as normal and the Celtics move on to face the Cavaliers.

However, hopefully these revised decisions prompt some kind of change within the NBA's officiating going forward, as the Sixers aren't the only team in the league that has been screwed this season by poor reffing.
