Around The Diamond: Empty stadiums and a Rangers reunion

The Orioles have announced via Twitter that for the second consecutive night, their game will be postponed due to the unrest in Baltimore. Tomorrow's game will be played at 2pm and will be closed to the public. While this sort of thing has happened in Europe soccer matches, I do not believe we have seen this in the states. The Orioles also announced they have flipped home/away games with the Tampa Bay Rays and will play this weekend's games originally scheduled for Baltimore in Tampa Bay. Bad news comes in threes (at least) when it comes to starting pitchers as Adam Wainwright and Brandon McCarthy are both done for the season with their respective injuries. It's not known that Bailey will miss the season yet but it's looking that way.

Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reports five teams are in on catcher Jared Saltalamacchia after the Marlins designated him for assignment the other day. It appears he will be traded
