Giants GM and team doctor finally speak to JPP: A few short days after Giants co-owner John Mara admitted that he didn't know how many fingers Jason Pierre-Paul had, GM Jerry Reese has finally gotten in-touch with the defensive end.

Pierre-Paul was infamously involved in a July 4 fireworks incident which cost the defensive end his right index finger. The Giants' vice president of medical services was also able to make contact with the 26-year-old.

Jackson says Revis and Sherman can't cover him: Ex-Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson emphasized his enormous ego yesterday when he stated that the two best corners in the league can't cover him.

"I don't think no one can guard me," Jackson said at Monday's training camp, via ESPN.com. "It's how I feel about myself. I don't feel no one can stop me. You can get Darrelle Revis, Richard Sherman – whoever you want to get"

Jackson believes that his combination hands and speed makes himself a nightmare for opposing defenders. The Redskins play the Jets week six, so Jackson will have the chance to prove himself against Revis. You can be sure both players will have these quotes in mind when they take the field.

Raven's Elam out for season: The Baltimore Ravens will be without third-year safety Matt Elam after the former first-round pick tore his bicep during full-contact practice last Sunday.

Elam will seek a second opinion on the injury, but Ravens head coach John Harbaugh didn't sound too optimistic about the safety when he spoke to reporters.

"I haven't heard on the MRI yet, but I'm not real optimistic right now," Harbaugh told reporters, via The Sun. "I haven't heard a final word, but it wasn't very optimistic talking to the doctors. He was reaching, the receiver ran by him and kind of reached for him and caught him."

The 23-year-old recorded 31 tackles in 11 starts last season.

Sanders suspended 10 games: Former Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Ace Sanders has been suspended for the fist 10 games of the 2015 season after violating the league's substance-abuse policy.

This is Sanders second offense in the last two seasons. The 23-year-old was suspended for the first four games of the 2014 season after failing a drug test.

Sanders was released by the Jaguars on July 17. In two seasons with the team, Sanders caught just 57 passes for 539 yards and one touchdown.
