Earl Wolff Hopes To Be Game Time Decision

Earl WolffEagles safety Earl Wolff hopes to be a game time decision against the Minnesota Vikings Sunday.

For the third consecutive day Earl Wolff took the practice field for the Philadelphia Eagles and what perhaps is most remarkable, he did it with 52 other teammates, in week 15 of the NFL season.

As if the overall health of Chip Kelly's Eagles wasn't enough, it appears that defensive coordinator Bill Davis could be getting his rookie starting safety back in the lineup as soon as this Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings

"It went good, I got a lot more reps today," Wolff said Thursday. "It was still sore at times but I'll be a game time decision."

Wolff has been sidelined since suffering a knee injury back on November 10th against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

Patrick Chung who entered the season as the starter, replaced Wolff when he was injured in spite of fighting through nagging shoulder injuries of his own for most of the season.

Linebacker Najee Goode was the only other player who had missed practice this week and he was a full participant on Thursday, meaning that all 53 players on the Eagles roster took part in practice which at this juncture of the season is very impressive in it's own right.

"I think it's a big factor," Kelly said of how important his team's overall health has been to the recent success. "When you get to line up next to the same guy all the time, you're a byproduct of your experiences and the more reps we can get — we're still a really, really young group in terms of all of us being together, so the more reps we can get with the same guys running it and doing things is obviously going to pay off for us."

Cornerback Cary Williams was added to Thursday's injury report as a limited participant with a hamstring injury which likely occurred during practice.
