Eickhoff, Phillies look to get back in the win column

The Philadelphia Phillies will try to bounce back after losing both games of a duobleheader yesterday to the Chicago Cubs. The loss was the third in a row for the Phillies. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05

Adam Morgan took the loss in the first game allowing four runs in five innings of work as Chicago won 5-1. Rookie Alec Asher was tagged for six runs in five innings in a 7-3 loss in game two.

Jerad Eickhoff will get the ball for the Phillies tonight. After winning his first major league start, Eickhoff has lost his last three. He is 1-3 on the season with 16 strikeouts and six walks. 

The rookie had his shortest outing of his young career in his last start. Boston chased him after just four innings registering eight hits and scoring six runs. 

Dan Haren will make his eigth start for Chicago since being acquired from the Miami Marlins. He is 2-2 for the Cubs and 9-9 overall this season. Haren pitched seven shutout innings against St. Louis in his last start.

Haren is 1-1 with a 4.50 era in three starts against the Phillies this season.
